Masters Program

Club members who have completed the Adult Novice Program are encouraged to continue developing their rowing skills through both informal practice and guided training.

To further this goal, coached technical practices are made available to interested members each year. These sessions are organized to accommodate members' interest in both technical improvement and competitive training. They are typically held during the summer months, though exact duration varies from year to year.

Masters Classification

For racing purposes, the definition of a masters-level rower is based on age, not skill level. A "master" is anyone age 21 or older. December 31 is used as the effective date, so your "rowing age" is whatever your age will be at the end of the calendar year.

Detailed information on the classification of rowers by age and by skill is available in sections 4-104 and 4-105, respectively, of the US Rules of Rowing.
